What is Pro Angler?

Pro Angler is made up of people who love to fish and love to share their fishing ideas, their favorite fishing spots and have made products that help you catch more fish. Pro Angler is working on filming fishing tips provided by amateur fishermen, tackle created by small tackle companies that help you catch fish and fishing destinations that produce fish.

We test all the methods and products on our website or rely on you to provide your opinion on the tips provided on our website. We give you the exact spots, baits and conditions that produced the fish. Pro Angler either films the videos ourselves or post videos created by people who send us videos that meet our requirements.

If you would like become a member of the Pro Angler community, just send us an email telling us about your product, your fishing tip or destination and we'll make a video on it. If you would like to add a video to ProAngler.com, just send us the video or a link to the video and we'll add it to the website. That's it!

How does ProAngler choose which videos to post on our website?

Our guidelines for these videos are as follows:
1 – Every tip, product or destination must produce fish. If they don't, we expect YOU to tell us we're full of it and tell us what we need to remove or change in the video tip.

2 – No Sponsors. We won’t accept any money or product from any company that we feature in our videos. We want to ensure our videos are shown because they work and not because we're paid to show them.

3 – No Pros. We only accept videos from amateur fishermen and tackle manufactures that still have the product inventor in the company. However, we do feature videos that have products manufactured by large companies if the product consistently produces fish. Like Rapala. We will also accept videos from Pros if they provide video tips that don't contain products they are paid to tell you about.

Why does Pro Angler provide all of this information at no cost?

Two Reasons-
1 - We're trying to create a platform for small tackle companies and amateur fishermen to get heard. The small guy no longer needs middlemen like large tackle companies and Pro's to have their products and ideas demonstrated to the general fishing public.

2 - We're trying to help expand fishing as a sport. The more successful you are when you go fishing, the more likely you are to care about the fisheries. Please support your local fishing clubs..they do a good job supporting local fisheries.

How does Pro Angler make Money?
Well...we really don't. We won't take money from any fishing industry sponsor to ensure the community on our website understands that we don't make any money from any fishing tips we provide. Which, unfortunately, makes this website a hobby supported by full time jobs. Overtime, we hope to make some money through sponsorships outside of the fishing industry.
