The Third 2009 Walleye Tournament in the Washington State circuit is now over. The "Moses Lake Walleye Classic" had 90 entries and a total payout of around $7,000. The fish were the real stars of this tournament with an impressive 45.74 pounds of fish taken over two days by RANDY PARKS and DENNIS MORGAN. The big fish for the tournament, 10.76 pounds, was taken by CHARLIE MAHANEY DAVID MAHANEY on day 1. Day 2 big fish weighing 7.9 pounds was landed by COLIN JUNKINS and LUKE BOURN. "Cool Under Pressure" went to ROWDY BOVAN and MICHAEL LINK who moved up 57 places from day 1 with an impressive 24.04 pound bag on day 2.
553 Fish caught with an average weight of 2.37 pounds.
Tournament coverage of the "Moses Lake Walleye Classic" by Pro Angler will be fairly limited compared to the other Walleye Tournaments in the Washington circuit due to the truncated nature of the Moses Lake Tournament. You can expect complete coverage of the Governor's Cup and the Championship. See you there!
